Founder

I'm Tierney Carroll, founder of STC, a platform dedicated to creating equitable and just education systems for all students. My passion for educational social justice was ignited in 2015 when I witnessed the inequities within the school system.

 

This experience led me to leave my previous career and partner with The School Leadership Project (TSLP) to bridge the education gaps between home, early-childhood providers, schools, and communities through parent engagement and Community-Driven School Turnaround (CDT) strategies.

 

At STC, we are committed to helping schools and organizations make meaningful changes to improve educational outcomes for all students. Our approach is centered on the belief that all children deserve schools that reflect their potential and that those most impacted by educational inequity and inequality must have leadership and decision-making power in reforming our schools and systems.

 

We strive to empower educators, parents, and community members to drive the changes needed to create a more just and equitable education system for all students.
